About Me
Originally from Philadelphia, PA, I grew up in North Carolina and started playing soccer at a very young age. During my youth career I played for the nationally ranked youth soccer club Capital Area Soccer League (CASL).
I played four years of varsity soccer for Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, VA. After graduating, I began my coaching career with my former youth club, CASL, spending two years with the club. I decided to further my education by attending Seattle University and moved to Seattle, earning a Masters Degree in Sports Administration and Leadership.
While attending grad school in Seattle, I started coaching again for a variety of youth clubs. After I finished my graduate program, I began a full-time coaching career at Seattle United, the largest premier soccer club in Washington State. I was soon promoted to a coaching director position at Seattle United, becoming the Director of Training Programs, at the same time coaching several high level premier teams to state championships.
In addition to my work with Seattle United, I was a co-founder and co-owner of a youth futsal organization called Seattle Futsal. I also spent 5 years working for the Elite Player Development program (also known as ODP). I currently have my “B” License, a National Youth License and a Advanced National diploma. I have over 10 years of youth coaching experience at various ages and levels.
I love coaching soccer and working with young soccer players! My goal with every player that I coach is to instill in them the value of discipline, a strong work ethic, and having serious fun. I want each player to develop a lifelong love of the game. Along the way, I strive to ensure each player develops the technical, tactical, physical, and social skills to play soccer at the highest level possible.
